For the iconic Generator Hotel Paris, a space defined by its vibrant urban-industrial aesthetic, Insolit developed a tailored architectural lighting solution designed to enhance visual comfort within the guest rooms and private quarters.
The project called for two distinct custom luminaire designs. For general ambient room lighting, Insolit engineered a bespoke fixture integrated with DALI dimming protocol, allowing for precise scene management and lighting control tailored to different times of day. To complement this, a custom recessed step-light was specifically developed for low-level pathway illumination. This technical fixture was engineered to project a soft, warm, indirect glow—providing safe spatial orientation throughout the room without causing direct glare or disturbing resting guests.
The exceptional photometric performance and sleek design of this custom pathway luminaire led to its official addition to the permanent collection in the Insolit 2014 Catalog, underscoring the brand’s ability to evolve bespoke project solutions into industry-leading standard products.
