Each Insolit collection begins with its own design process, rather than a simple variation on an existing product. This is why our catalogue brings together families as different as TR, with its clean, circular lines, and Gravity, with its linear, sculptural character. They all share the same exacting standards of design and manufacturing in Barcelona, with solutions suited to residential, hospitality, retail and workplace projects.

Beyond aesthetics, each collection is developed to meet a specific lighting need: diffusing light, directing it, marking pathways or providing precise illumination. This specialisation allows different collections to work together within the same project, creating a coherent lighting scheme throughout the space.

The TR collection, designed by Josep Lluís Xuclà, is the most versatile in the catalogue. Its circular extruded aluminium profile allows for pendant, ceiling and wall configurations, with direct, indirect or focused light depending on the model. For warmer, more enveloping light, the Glass collection uses fluted glass tubing to create distinctive, diffused illumination, with floor, table, ceiling and wall versions available.

For projects that require technical, directional lighting, the Focus Line collection, designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, offers adjustable spotlights in a range of formats — track, wall, floor and recessed — including IP65-rated versions for outdoor use. When a project calls for a large, sculptural piece, Gravity offers a striking linear form with integrated spotlights, making it an ideal centrepiece for larger spaces.

How to choose the right model for each space

Not every room needs the same kind of light. A living room or reception area often benefits from pendant lighting with a strong visual presence, such as the TR or Dew collections, while a study or reading area calls for the precision of an adjustable spotlight like Focus Line. For outdoor spaces — gardens, terraces and entrances — the Banus and Focus Line IP65 collections are specifically designed to withstand the elements without compromising on design.

There are also solutions for more specific needs: portable lamps such as Basic or LC offer flexibility without permanent installation, while models certified for damp areas such as bathrooms bring together safety and aesthetics.
