Each Insolit collection is born from its own design process, not from a simple product variation. That is why families as different as TR, with its clean circular lines, and Gravity, with its sculptural linear character, coexist in our catalogue: what unites them all is the same commitment to design and manufacturing in Barcelona, created to adapt to residential, hospitality, commercial and corporate projects.
Beyond aesthetics, each collection is developed to solve a specific lighting need: diffusing, directing, marking or illuminating with precision. This specialisation by family allows several collections to be combined within the same project, creating coherent lighting compositions across every area of a single space.
The TR collection, designed by Josep Lluís Xuclà, is the most versatile in the catalogue: its circular extruded aluminium profile allows for suspended, ceiling or wall combinations, with direct, indirect or focused light depending on the model. If you are looking for a warmer, more enveloping light, the Glass collection works with ribbed glass tubing to create diffused lighting full of character, available in floor, table, ceiling and wall versions.
For projects that require technical, directional light, the Focus Line collection, signed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, offers adjustable spotlights in multiple formats — track, wall, floor or recessed — including IP65-rated versions for outdoor use. And when a project calls for a large-scale piece with sculptural presence, Gravity brings a linear silhouette with integrated spotlights, ideal as the centrepiece of larger spaces.
Not every room needs the same type of light. A living room or reception area usually benefits from suspended lighting with strong visual presence, such as the TR or Dew collections; a study or reading area, on the other hand, calls for the precision of an adjustable spotlight like Focus Line. For outdoor spaces — gardens, terraces or entrances — the Banus and Focus Line IP65 collections are specifically designed to withstand the elements without compromising on design.
There are also solutions for very specific needs: portable lamps such as Basic or LC for those seeking flexibility without fixed installation, or models certified for humid areas like the bathroom, where safety matters just as much as design.
Every Insolit collection is designed to adapt: finishes, dimensions, lighting configurations and even combinations between models within the same family.
