We have designed and custom-made an exclusive lighting system for the DFactory building in Barcelona. The challenge was to create high-performance luminaires perfectly integrated into the workspaces while also being compatible with Forma 5’s 4- and 6-person Bench desks. The result: custom pieces that harmonize with the furniture and optimize lighting at each workstation.
Each luminaire has been strategically designed to ensure uniform lighting, eliminating shadows and providing visual comfort in high-demand environments. The modularity of the system allows it to adapt to different table configurations and layouts while maintaining a coherent and elegant aesthetic language.
Lighting control is achieved with a dual functionality:
Independent push-button control, where each user adjusts the light according to their own workspace.
DALI control, managed through light sensors in the areas near the façade, automatically balancing the lighting levels according to the available natural light.
The luminaire is made of steel and polycarbonate, using high-quality PCBs to ensure efficiency, durability, and maximum luminous stability. Every part of the product has been designed and manufactured in Barcelona, reflecting our commitment to technical excellence and local industrial design.
