In the vibrant financial heart of Canary Wharf, Oasis Bar & Terrace stands as an urban sanctuary where architecture, interior design, and nature seamlessly converge. To bring this sophisticated environment to life, the architectural lighting design played a pivotal role—conceived not merely to illuminate, but to sculpt a captivating, immersive atmosphere deeply aligned with the venue’s botanical narrative.
Serving as the cornerstone of the lighting scheme, custom circular luminaires by Insolit were selected—specifically a bespoke interpretation of the iconic TR Spot & Up Pendant collection, configured in an inverted variation. Developed in close collaboration with the team at Darklight Design, these fixtures were engineered to respond with absolute precision to both the technical and aesthetic demands of the space. Strategically positioned above integrated planters, the luminaires project a warm, nuanced glow that accentuates the volume, texture, and vibrant green hues of the natural foliage.
The elegant gold finish of the structural elements elevates the rich material palette, adding a touch of serene, refined luxury. This visual continuity flows effortlessly between the indoor spaces and the outdoor terrace, blurring architectural boundaries and ensuring a fluid transition of light. Thanks to the technical versatility and bespoke craftsmanship of Insolit’s custom design, the lighting serves as the key transformative element that turns this bar and terrace into an inviting oasis, elevating the sensory experience of every guest.
