In the Alexander project, the lighting centres on Insolit’s TR Down luminaires, designed by Josep Lluís Xuclà. Their circular geometry creates a distinct yet light presence, making light an integral part of the spatial composition.
TR Down’s direct lighting highlights the surfaces beneath each luminaire, while its suspended form creates an interplay of planes between the ceiling and the interior. The continuous profile traces a line that visually defines the illuminated areas and brings balance to the overall composition.
The project demonstrates the TR collection’s versatility in combining function with formal expression. An approach in which simple forms and careful attention to light help create a contemporary, harmonious and welcoming atmosphere.
